What planet are you on ???

I know what planet Im on and it runs in the 1.50 at Newmarket....yes you've guessed it, its New Planet !
His last run was in the very competive 6f sprint at York the Class 2 Bond Tyres Trophy Stakes on 11th June where he finished 6th of the 20 runners from stall 20 off topweight of 9-7. That was a big ask as the highest weight carried to success in the race since 1980 was when Sheikh Albadou lumped 9-3 when beating Adwick Park by 4 lengths. Tomorrow New Planet gets a little bit of respite as Dale Swift takes off a valuable 5lb and this gives him a bit in hand of those who finished both in front and behind him that day. For instance the winner there Lexi's Heros is now 11lb worse off for the 2 3/4 lengths he beat the selection by and New Planet was doing his best work in the final furlong, so he looks sure to appreciate the stiff finish here. I am not saying he is going to win as it is a very competitive race as you would expect for a Class 2 Handicap worth £62,250.00 at Newmarket, but he is a value 16/1 with a few firms and that must be worthy of a little ew money whilst you can get it.

Another interesting runner tomorrow in the 7.10 at Chester is Albany Rose who has been entered more times of late than a Bangkok hooker !!.....and it will be interesting to see how she gets on as she is 6lb well in according to the handicapper.
